How to Place a Design Request

A design request is the easiest way to get a custom uniform or apparel design without building it yourself. You share your team details and any visuals you have. Wooter’s design team turns that into a mockup you can review, revise, and approve before production.

Quick Start

Best for: Coaches, team managers, league admins, and anyone ordering for a group.
You can start with: A logo file or even a clear screenshot.
To stay on schedule: Include your deadline and respond quickly to mockups.

Step 1: Pick the Type of Design You Want

Choose the option that matches your situation. This gives the designer a clear direction so your first mockup hits closer to what you’re imagining.

Brand New Design

You want a fresh look built from scratch, nothing from a previous season.

Match Existing Style

You want the design to match a previous season or another team set.

Simple Clean Layout

Classic uniform with strong readability; easy to read from the field or court.

Statement Design

Bold patterns, strong panels, and more visual energy. Goes hard.

Step 2: Gather What You Have (Even If It’s Not Perfect)

You don’t need a perfect file package. Even a screenshot and a color name gets you started. Here’s what matters at each level.

Must Have

Team name

Sport + product

e.g. basketball jersey set, warmup pants, reversible jersey

Deadline date

Tournament, opener, media day, whenever you need it

Logo

Best version you have, even a screenshot is fine to start

Strongly Recommended

Colors

Exact hex/Pantone if you have them, or a clear description if not

1 Reference Image

A screenshot or link showing the vibe you're going for

Names and numbers

Confirm if needed and any style preference

Step 3: Upload Your Logo and References

The better the file, the sharper your mockup. But anything works at the start; we can ask for replacements if needed during revisions.

Only Have a Screenshot?

Upload it, and also send a link to your website or social page where the logo appears clearly, or a photo where it's printed cleanly (banner, jersey, poster).

Font Tip

If your team name uses a specific font, tell us the name or upload a reference. If not, the designer picks a clean font that fits your style and stays readable on the field or court.

Step 4: Submit Your Notes Using This Template

Copy, paste, and fill this in. Sending it in one message prevents back-and-forth and speeds up your first mockup significantly.

Step 5: What Happens After You Submit?

Copy, paste, and fill this in. Sending it in one message prevents back-and-forth and speeds up your first mockup significantly.

1) You receive your first mockup

The design team creates a draft based on your logo, colors, and notes.

2) You request edits (if needed)

Edits are normal. The fastest way is to send one combined message with all changes.

3) You approve the final mockup

Approval is the point where your order moves forward confidently. If you have a deadline, approvals are the biggest lever you control.

4) You finalize roster details and sizes

If names and numbers are included, you confirm the final list and sizes.

Examples of “Good” Design Requests

Clean Classic

“White base, dark navy accents, big back number, name above number, small chest logo.”

Modern Athletic

“Bold side panels, high contrast numbers, clean shoulder detail, minimal patterns.”

Statement Look

“Strong diagonal pattern, sharp accents, aggressive style, but keep numbers easy to read.”

Submit your design request and get your mockup started

Upload your logo, share your colors, and include your deadline. You’ll get a mockup you can review and approve so production can move forward.

Starting is easy. A logo screenshot works. Deadlines welcome.
